Ever wonder if there was a way to add a little more joy to your life? Or maybe even things you could do that will make you happy? Are you looking for some support to make that happen?

Whether you’re coping with mild to moderate depression or just looking to find more joy in your life, our free Happiness Basics workshop can help.

Run by health professionals, this free workshop is designed for people who want to learn how to be happy and boost their overall happiness — something that has been shown to improve mood and energy levels, boost physical and mental health and even reduce pain. It also gives you the chance to connect with others looking to do the same.

Offered online and in person, the workshop runs for four weeks, for two hours each session.

What you’ll learn

Along with offering an inside look into how happy people think, you will learn about positive psychology. This workshop will also teach you:

  • the science of happiness
  • how to make lifestyle changes and add new skills to create more happiness and joy
  • 11 practical skills — including mindfulness and how to savour the moment — to create happiness daily
