After-hours Care

A couple is holding their school-aged son in the middle of the two of them.

When feeling better can’t wait.

Our Access 365 Clinic is available to Calgary-area Primary Care Network patients can’t get in to see their family doctor or nurse practitioner that day or who need help outside of regular office hours.

After your appointment, we will let your doctor or nurse practitioner know about the care you received.

Who can get an appointment?

Available seven days a week, the clinic is open to patients who have a semi-urgent need to be seen  within 24 to 48 hours and:

  • can’t get an appointment with their family doctor or nurse practitioner within that time
  • are patients of any Calgary-area Primary Care Network family doctor or nurse practitioner
  • live in northwest Calgary or Cochrane and don’t currently have a family doctor or nurse practitioner

How can someone get an appointment?

For medical emergencies, please call 911.

If you need semi-urgent care, start by calling your family doctor or nurse practitioner. If the clinic is open but can’t see you because they are fully booked or away, ask their staff to check whether an appointment at the Access 365 Clinic is right for you. They can refer you directly to the after-hours clinic.

If your provider’s office is closed, or if you do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, call Health Link at 811. A nurse will assess your symptoms, offer advice and may recommend an appointment at the Access 365 Clinic or have an on-call physician call you.
