WHO IT’S FOR
Do you experience gas, bloating, cramps and abdominal pain related to bowel movements? Irregular bowel moments? Diarrhea or constipation or are constantly alternating between both? What about heartburn and nausea? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be experiencing symptoms related to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you are at the beginning of your IBS journey or need some continued support managing it the Calgary Foothills PCN’s Irritable Bowel Syndrome workshop can help you.
This free workshop is available in-person and virtually, and is open to anyone 18 years and older.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
During this two-hour long session, attendees will be given tips and tools to help manage IBS. The workshop addresses key areas including:
- Understanding personal and common triggers
- The brain-gut connection
- How IBS is diagnosed
- The role of medication in managing IBS
