Cochrane Primary Care Centre to close

Calgary Foothills Primary Care Network has made the difficult decision to close its Cochrane Primary Care Centre. Fentanyl antidote available throughout Calgary

A free antidote for the deadly fentanyl drug is now available at scores of locations throughout the Calgary area as family doctors, pharmacists and others continue to expand access to these potentially life-saving kits. A total of 272 overdose deaths related to fentanyl were recorded in Alberta last year, more than double the number recorded in 2014.
